Nate Miller
Graduate Student, Computer Science

Nate Miller is a software engineer with six years of experience, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science. He graduated in 2018 with a background in psychology, philosophy, and systems analysis.
His interests lie in leveraging machine learning for deep analysis in fields such as psychology, philosophy, and cybernetics. By integrating technology with the humanities, he aims to uncover new insights and innovative applications across disciplines.
Based in Grand Rapids, Nate lives with his wife, Rachael, and continues to explore the intersections of computing, human cognition, and philosophical inquiry.

Trevor Ouma
Graduate Student, Cybersecurity

Trevor Ouma is a cybersecurity professional with a background in law and technology, pursuing an M.S. in Cybersecurity at Grand Valley State University. He specializes in penetration testing, risk assessment, and network security.
His experience includes ethical hacking research, SDN security, and applying machine learning to cybersecurity. As a former managing partner at Arwa Ouma Advocates, he brings legal expertise to digital security and compliance.
Trevor is passionate about research and community engagement, striving to merge technical skills with legal insight to drive innovation in cybersecurity.

Nathan Katzman
Graduate Student, Applied Computer Science
College of Computing, Grand Valley State University
Nathan Katzman currently works as a Barista for Be Gaslight Cafe. His skills in computer science include C/C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Flask, SQL, Colab, RStudio, and Weka.
Nathan has accomplished several projects, including creating an Instagram-like website, developing a Euchre-style card game, and building a pipeline simulator that applies the skills he has learned in his field.
